In this post, I just wanted to give you a few tips and tricks for things.

  • When in doubt, use a crochet hook. It’s designed to grab things and move them throughout your work, so it’s easy to pick up dropped stitches and stitch them back into your work
  • If you want your edges to be really smooth, try skipping the first stitch. When you get to the first stitch of a row, don’t stitch it, and move it from your left needle to your right, then continue knitting. It’ll make your edges much smoother, and you’ll make up for it by stitching the final stitch of every row.
  • Try not to put your work down in the middle of a row – it could pull stitches apart in the middle of your work if they get separated.
  • When you’re casting off, make sure you don’t pull too tightly! Leave plenty of room. The perfect amount of yarn to use in casting off is a process of practice, and you’ll figure it out with time!

Thanks so much for tuning in, I’ll be updating this page frequently with new tips and trips! Also be sure to check out this video and this video with tips and trips!

“Jesus said to him, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” -John 14:6

He is the Good Shepherd, full of love and desire, and forgiveness and mercy. The only way to the Father is through the Son, so let us run to Him in all things, to return to Heart of Mercy, knowing that nothing we do will ever separate us from the love of God. He carries us through our hardest times, and delights in our littleness.
